Freddy the Little Freckle

Years ago, my husband and I were visiting some friends. They had just adopted a little boy. At one point during the evening, I picked up his ball that he was tossing. When he came over to retrieve it, he looked at me and asked, “What are those spots on your face?”

I told him, “Freckles.”
