Hang a Shining Star

This story was really a joy to read, with the interactions between Evan and Eric being both intriguing and exciting.  There is a mutual attraction from the very beginning, even though the guys don't act on it right away, and watching thing slowly heat up even more until they boil over is intense and amusing. - Enigmatically Emily

Stuck buying the last tree off the last lot on the last day before Christmas, Evan is making do. Faced with moving the tree on his own, he lucks out when Eric, a former student, offers to help. When they find out they're both alone for Christmas, it only seems natural to share it together.
