Happy Masters is a megalomaniacal entrepreneur, a shrewd negotiator, and the mastermind behind Happy Girls, a phenomenally successful doll company. When she happens upon the sleepy village of Equinox, New York, she gets the idea that will transform her life and all the lives around her—to remake Equinox in her image, part retail mecca, part amusement park, part Stepfordian nightmare.
