How can I stay mentally and physically fit in old age? Are tiresome diets the only way to stay slim? What’s the right type of exercise for me, and how much is too much? In Dr. Eva Schäufele’s opinion, there are no universal rules, only individual solutions: what suits one person might be unhealthy or even dangerous for another. This book will show you how, through new findings in genetics and epigenetics, your individual genetic makeup can be determined and analysed with maximum precision – enabled through the latest in modern technology.

However, DNA testing can only benefit you if it forms the basis for developing personal lifestyle recommendations – and this book explains how: the right, personalised diet, appropriate levels of exercise, and how these can lead to a healthy, active life avoiding illness, pain and dementia.

Using everyday language and a wealth of practical, real-life examples, the author helps you build the recommendations into your own lifestyle, even if short on time or budget.  The first step is yours to take – soon you’ll be on your way towards a long, healthy life!

Dr. Eva Schäufele studied medicine and psychology. For over twenty years she practised as a doctor in Munich. Her additional professional training in psychoanalysis, coaching and especially genetics got her interested in the rapid spread of lifestyle diseases, and how they may be prevented.

Since 2007, she had been giving talks and workshops on topics regarding genetics, epigenetics and the resulting individualised lifestyles at international conferences all over the world.
