How to Stop a Hurricane, & Some Other Things You Might Like to Know

My philosophy. These are my suggestions on how to make the world a better and safer place. How to end crime and poverty. How to divide and share power and means. How to help everyone attain a level of dignity and contribution. In short, this is my map to Shangrila. The problems in our society seem insurmountable. I say they can be taken on, and be defeated with a closer look and an abandonment of accepted dogmas. What we are doing now is not working. Economics, environment, politics, religion and education as they are rehearsed and developed along historic trends are not developing society in a way that we want to go. We need to change our direction, our assumptions, and our goals. A hurricane can be stopped. Crime can be stopped. Poverty can be stopped. We can do better, but not by staying the course and working harder.
