My sister is missing.

My father is guilty...



As Jessica Walsh waits in a café for her usual therapy session on a normal Monday morning, a stranger sits down opposite her.



This woman has a story that eerily mirrors Jess's own. They both have sisters who are addicts. They both have fathers who are becoming increasingly desperate. The one difference is that Jess knows her dad would never resort to violence to fix the 'problem' as this woman's father has.



Or so she thinks.



Later that morning, as Jessica leaves therapy, she has multiple voicemails from Vicki: her father is wielding an axe and Vicki needs her here now.



When Jessica gets home, her father is quick to explain. He has hired a company to do whatever is necessary to get her sister clean. The measures are extreme, but this is all to help her. But Jessica can't forget the woman in the café.



Jess worries that her father's desperation has been exploited – or is he even telling the truth? All she knows for certain is that she needs to find her sister before something truly terrible happens.
