Adventures were - punting on the Thames at West Reading - learning to row at Wallingford - work at the Hydraulics Research Station at Howbery Park - National Service in the RAF - rowing in the first Wallingford Eight at Henley - study at Chelsea College of Science and Technology with work at the GEC Hirst Research Centre - rowing with the University of London Boat Club - final of the Thames Cup at Henley - Coxed Pair in the Rome Olympics - rowing with Barn Cottage Boat Club - won Head of the River Race - won Amsterdam Sprint Eights - won Metropolitan Elite Eights - won Serpentine Sprint Eights - lost disastrously in the Grand Challenge Cup at Henley and in the Eights Final of the Prague European Championships - work as Numerical Analyst at London School of Economics - work as Computer Manager at University of Southampton - sailed 505 dinghy Muchacha at Weston Sailing Club - buit Unicorn catamaran Two’s Complement - raced in Unicorn Open Meetings and National Championships.
