Questo lavoro è il risultato degli elaborati prodotti dal Workshop “Laboratorio di progettazione intensiva” per allievi del quinto anno. Ormai giunto alla terza edizione, questo modo di saldare didattica e ricerca sul progetto nell'ambito delle attività del Dipartimento di Architettura e Disegno industriale della Seconda Università degli studi di Napoli genera molti esiti veramente interessanti. Ogni autunno nasce l'occasione per mettere insieme docenti di ogni grado ed estrazione culturale, dottori di ricerca, progettisti particolarmente interessanti per la scena culturale italiana e gli studenti del Corso di Laurea magistrale in architettura. La pubblicazione dei risultati del Workshop attraverso il format digitale supportato dal marchio AOS consente di divulgarne gli esiti dando la possibilità di fruirne gratuitamente in italiano e in inglese in 51 paesi e, quindi, di rendere pubblici i risultati della ricerca progettuale del Dipartimento.

Bombe su Capri
Casa Malaparte, la più enigmatica architettura del Novecento, è frutto della impostazione di un architetto trasfigurata dalla potenza ideale di uno scrittore, dai buoni consigli di un capomastro caprese, dagli apporti di molti amici artisti, che da vicino o da lontano aiutano Malaparte a concludere il suo relitto. A ben vedere è un lavoro che solo nel cantiere ultimato trova una sua stabilità concettuale, un certo carattere monumentale che ne decreta la sostanziale intangibilità e costringe tutti a fare i conti con lei usando armi bianche, a volte sofisticatissime e poetiche, ma pur sempre bianche. La finalità di questo Workshop non è, quindi, quella di riprendere il discorso sulla paternità dell’opera o di tentarne un’ennesima interpretazione. Questa volta si tratta di una manomissione rischiosa e belligerante. L’obiettivo è destarla dal suo sonno minerale e consegnarla al destino delle prove di stratificazione. I progetti proposti manipolano la dimora caprese che diiviene cavia per una ablazione, un deposito di figure inedite, un purissimo laboratorio sull’utopia.

This eBook is the result of the elaborates produced by the "Intensive Design Workshop" for the fifth year students. Now in its third edition, this way to weld teaching and research on the project as part of the activities of the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of the Second University of Naples generates lots of really interesting results. Every autumn comes the opportunity to bring together teachers of all grades and cultural backgrounds, PhDs, particularly interesting designers for the Italian cultural scene and student. The publication of the results of the Workshop through the digital format supported by AOS brand allows you to disclose the results of giving the opportunity to enjoy them for free in Italian and English in 51 countries and, therefore, to make public the results of the project research of the Department.

Bombs on Capri

Casa Malaparte, the most enigmatic architecture of the twentieth century, is the result of the setting of an architect transfigured by ideal power of a writer, by good tips of a caprese master builder, by the contributions of many artist friends that from near and from afar have helped Malaparte to conclude its wreckage. On closer inspection it is a job that only completed the construction site you can find its conceptual stability, a certain monumental character that decrees the substantial inviolability and forces everyone to come to terms with her using weapons, sometimes sophisticated and poetic, but still white. The purpose of this Workshop is not to resume the discussion on the authorship or attempting yet another interpretation. This time it is a risky tampering and belligerent. The goal is to awaken the villa from its ore sleep and give it to the fate of the stratification. Proposed projects have manipulated the Capri-style villa that diviene guinea pig for an ablation, a deposit of unpublished figures, a pure utopia laboratory.
