The story starts with Megan and her meeting with a Mysterious Clown. The Clown is a suspect in the disappearances of several children. From the point in Megan's life when she meets the Clown, nothing will ever be the same. Her eyes are open to a Multiverse filled with strange people, other worlds, and the existence of beings in her home town that appear to be human but are not human. Megan will learn Elves, Fairies, Werewolves, Vampires, Dragons, Talking Animals, and many others coexist on Earth and throughout the cosmos. She is forced into an adventure that will make her wildest dreams and worse nightmares come true. The danger and adventure does not end when she can finally go home again. Her life is still in peril from a new threat to her safety, the Children of Babel.  Megan's only hope for survival is Mary, who she forges an alliance and eventually a friendship with.
