An angel walked into a bar…

Sounds like the line to a fun joke, right? Maybe for some it does. Not for Liz. All she wanted was to branch out for her 21st birthday, to overcome her shyness. She never should have entered that bar. 

How was she to know that the owner was looking to fill a special order for a client? One that she fit the bill for perfectly. Innocent, untouched, young. 

One minute she was drinking with the nice owner and bartender, feeling like she was finally able to live. The next, she was chained up in a warehouse in Mexico with a dozen other girls. 

It could have been worse. At least she wasn't just for stock. No, she was meant as a wedding gift. From the cartel boss to his son. A man who preferred innocent women. 

Overnight, Liz was thrown from her quiet and sheltered life in New Orleans (yes she knows that sounds ridiculous) to being the favored mistress to a cartel boss. One the new wife does not like.
