Multi-engine Training Considerations

This instructor guide is intended for instructors providing training for a multi-engine class rating, but can also be used as a reference by students.


The guide has been designed to accompany the book «Multi-engine Aeroplanes - The EASA Multi-Engine Class Rating» (by Erlend Vaage).


Multi-engine aeroplanes have unique characteristics that will require a separate class rating. And for good reason, the instructor will also have to be additionally trained and qualified. It is not without risk.
