Miss Clio has a position of responsibility in the Night Market—the magically traveling market full of wonders.  She has a vast amount of magic at her beck and call.  She has a mentor and a group of friends who care for her.  What she doesn’t have is a last name—or a family.

Joss Hagan lives his life on the road, journeying with a magical golden bauble as his only companion.  It’s a life far preferable to the misery of time spent at home.  He’s supposed to be on a mission for his cruel family.  Instead, he’s investigating his own magical interests.  That is, until the day he encounters a beautiful young witch who recognizes his bauble—and he’s pretty sure it recognizes her, too.

Together they must unravel the mystery of her past—and prevent the destruction of their future.
