Our Living Land Our Living Land

Descrizione dell’editore

Traditionally, Aboriginal people lived very differently to how we do today. They had different sources of food, they made tools and shelters differently, they celebrated differently and they had different beliefs. This book looks at how life was in Australia before European colonisation.

The Tools, Totems & Tucker Enviro-Stories program was run with students from across the central west and tableland regions of New South Wales in 2014. These students were given the opportunity to learn about traditional Aboriginal culture from local experts and their teachers. Students used what they learnt to create stories about Aboriginal culture and how this culture was used in the past and in current times. There have been ten books produced as part of this program.
