THE SOUND OF THE FOUNTAINS OF ROME
First volume
Najadi Fountain & Tortoises Fountain
This is an audiovisual work that makes a technical interpretation of the musical language and cultural value of the suggestive power of these elements of urban, rich in beauty, and often in history, not infrequently true works of art, always sources of artistic inspiration.
Through dynamic and static shots of fountains and aqueducts, commented out by musical compositions of some of the most famous Italian musicians, transmit to the viewer the feeling that the fountains will have met the artists involved in the project.
The work is based on the language of music: there are no comments, either technical or historical information on fountains.
Only the music seals the images, enriched by the sounds of water every fountain, which comes to life with showing her authentic voice.
The work is an artistic celebration of the city of Rome, reflected in its fountains, which tell the ages of life, whose legacy is collected, transmitted and renewed by contemporary musicians. The fountains and the composers who have participated with their lyrics to the realization of the work are:
