Starting Over

Brett is a young farmer battling to save his farm amidst bereavement and a crippling drought. Jacqui stumbles into his life after being transferred to a small school in remote Manwarring. The young couple forms an alliance with an old-timer, and despite hardship, the three become close friends.

 Jacqui and Brett grow closer, but someone appears intent on causing them harm. Minor, annoying damage escalates until the incidents begin to cause genuine concern.

After being assaulted, Jacqui returns to her hometown of Kyoga to recuperate. Brett's concern that Jacqui won't return after her convalescence eventuates, and he is left to deal with life on the farm without Jacqui and Sid's backing.

Brett sets aside his anger when tragedy strikes and offers Jacqui his support. To their dismay, they discover that someone close to Jacqui has been meddling in their affairs. Can the unity they shared be restored, or is the damage too much to try again?
