The Tales of the Wind is written and illustrated by Zdenko Basic, presently one of the most talented, original and productive Croatian illustrators.

This book is a collection of stories that Zdenko’s grandmothers used to tell him about the hidden world that exists parallel to everything we know and see. It is a personal journal of his childhood dedicated to all those mesmerised by magical creatures - Fairies, Elves, Murks, Witches, and various other beings that fulfil childhood with wonder. The stories are a family heritage as well as the legacy of our human collective past which makes them universally appreciated.
