The Best Part of Me

This book was inspired by the poetry written in Wendy Ewald’s book, The Best Part of Me. In this book you will find a variety of poems written by the students in Room 21 at Te Akau ki Papamoa School as well as the photographs they took.  Included in this book is a collection of individual retell movies created in the Apple app ‘Clips’.  This book was entered into the MADE Awards (Media and Digital Excellence) which is a New Zealand nation wide competition celebrating digital excellence and talents of students from New Entrant up to Year 8.  Pa’shence Pokaia won ‘Most Outstanding’ in the Open Category which is an indication of the perseverance and determination she showed while making this multi touch book.
