Over hundred and fifty years the Murphy’s have lived in or around Cowler Texas and owned a pub called The Bloody Bucket. How they got there, how they lived and loved is amazing and wonderful.

Horse, Jack Murphy, worked digging peat bogs in Ireland and violent jobs in New York City, but neither was him. There were forestry jobs going in Texas so he’d hopped a train and left. It was everything he expected until he was hurt and had to stop. The woman he had a fling with in high school was back in Cowler and his life. Love the second time around was exactly what he wanted, he just didn’t know it.

Sean Murphy, the second son, was fine running the bar until he was diagnosed with cancer. He kept the news to himself, but he also made some drastic changes—one of which was to walkaway from the love of his life. The cure was harsh and done, his hair was back, and he couldn’t stop from seeking out the one he wanted most.
