PREFACE

Canada is not just a country on a map.
It is a promise. A conversation. A work in progress.  I wrote The Canadian Experience because I believe every person who has lived, visited, or dreamed of Canada has a story worth telling. From the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic shores, from small prairie towns to the towers of Toronto and Vancouver, Canada is a living story of people choosing to build together. 

This book is not a textbook. It is a guide, a mirror, and a roadmap. It highlights our histories, our struggles, our wins, and the values that keep us together: respect, fairness, community, and the belief that we are stronger together.  Whether you are born here, arrived yesterday, or are still planning your journey — welcome.
