The City of Krk

Along the Croatian side of the Adriatic Sea there are hundreds of little places and towns, which can be recognised from afar by the characteristic bell towers, the promenade, the beaches…When you come closer, there is the sea, restaurants, the smell of good food… In order for you to be able to distinguish the city of Krk from this group of “just one of those places”, you now have this book of 250 pages available, as an attempt to show the special characteristics of this city, which is in many ways unique, and much greater than its ground plan would indicate. Are we being pretentious from the outset? No, just a little subjective!

In order to show the city as completely as possible, we have endeavoured to show it from as many different angles as we can. We have climbed up to the heights of heaven, we have climbed onto the walls and up towers, we have climbed up the cathedral bell tower and the tower by the fire station, and in our creative passion, we have even driven many other people up the wall!
