The Eyes of Penn

This book was created as a supplement to the podcast short story of the same title “The Eyes of Penn”, found on Clear Tales podcast. The story, podcast and ebook are crafted specifically for older individuals who experience mild cognitive impairment, such as mild to moderate dementia.
The purpose of this publication is to fully immerse and engage the audience, listeners with mild to moderate dementia, in the narrated story. Allowing them to actively follow along the podcast narration with the ebook. To enhance the experience, it has been intentionally published in larger print and includes illustrations for each chapter specifically for the audiobook listener's enjoyment and engagement.
"The Eyes of Penn" follows the journey of a Philadelphia-based rock band named "The Johnsons." The story revolves around their goal to create an audition tape and enter a competition to win $20,000 and play at the Indiana State Fair. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when they are asked to assist their community in Philadelphia instead. The opportunity for monetary gain is put on hold as they shift their focus towards helping others.
