The Garden Grump

One grumpy daisy. One determined garden. One very small smile.

The Garden Grump is a rhyming animated storybook for children of all ages - pages that move, a garden that breathes, and a narration to be revealed. The bee dances, the snail forgets, the robin sings, the hedgehog bounces, and the roses are, frankly, insufferable. Daisy is not impressed by any of it.

So who are the neighbours we hope to see,
Who live in this garden between a gate and a tree,
The robin will sing, red chest bold and proud,
While snail starts his jokes… then forgets them out loud.
In whizzes the bee in a most dizzying show,
As the roses waltz past with an elegant glow.
In tumbles the hedgehog, all bounce like a ball,
With a tiny ladybird hidden, watching it all.
The friendliest garden you ever did see-
Just don’t ask the Daisy. He doesn’t agree.

And of course there is Daisy, a flower renown,
Not for his splendour, but his permanent frown.
White petals, two leaves and a wonderful bloom,
Don’t be fooled though - his demeanour is gloom.
Yet looks can deceive, as you’ll soon discover-
Underneath his leaf lies a heart like no other.
