The Moon Master

The Moon Master is a science fiction novel by American author Charles W. Diffin. 

Through infinite deeps of space Jerry Foster hurtles to the Moon—only to be trapped by a barbaric race and offered as a living sacrifice to Oong, their loathsome, hypnotic god. 

The Moon Master was first published in Astounding Stories, June 1930. 

Charles W. Diffin (1884-1966) was a US engineer, airplane salesman and science fiction writer. He was one of the better writers whom Harry Bates encouraged to write for the new Astounding Stories.
