The challenge I began working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Queensland Section in February 2006 as the first Health Information Manager (HIM) within Queensland. Travelling around to our Bases and experiencing how we provide health care within the communities we visit highlighted the complexity and array of issues and situations I was to face in managing RFDS health information.
