Imani Wade, a former journalist, has always sensed that something was off about the world. When she uncovers fragments of the truth hidden deep in corrupted files, she becomes a target—hunted by the very system controlling them all.

Jinx Holloway, a street hacker and rebel, has spent years operating in the shadows, hacking the Simulation to expose its flaws. But even she never imagined the horrifying truth that lies beyond the illusion.

When the three strangers' paths collide, they uncover the secret behind the world they live in: They are trapped inside a Simulation, a digital prison designed to keep humanity under control. Outside, the real world is a post-apocalyptic wasteland, ruled by an organization known as Echelon, who have enslaved the human race inside this artificial dream.

Now, with time running out and the Simulation collapsing, Kwame, Imani, and Jinx must fight to escape. But breaking free is only the beginning.
