Too Far to Whisper

In 17th-Century New England, 19-year-old Rosalind Chandler’s complete lack of interest in ever becoming a bride is a constant source of puzzlement and gossip in town. She, however, has a valid and disturbing reason for her actions, which she has vowed never to divulge. Then a twist of fate delivers two men -- enemies -- into her life on the same day. Although both men initially intrigue her, one soon turns her blood cold, while the other heats it to a degree she finds herself helpless to control…or to comprehend.
