Trapped in Trieste

Milo fears his discovery as the instigator of the murders of three mob bosses' sons will get him killed. He wants to get out of Trieste as soon as possible but events happen rapidly that hand him a moral dilemma: Adara Nasim, Milo's duplicitous ex-lover, dubiously claims she's pregnant with his child—he has to marry her and return to become the new boss of her criminal family; Russo, a corrupt cop who'd clashed with Milo in the past, suspects, erroneously, Milo had murdered his friend, Enzo Falco, and threatens to jail his wife, Maria, unless Milo confesses; the dreaded Mafia is back to eliminate the Nasims and reclaim what was once theirs; Fabio Borini, a charismatic fascist, billionaire, politician, uses violence against communists and Muslim immigrants and threatens to destroy the Nasim family. Should he escape to save himself or stay to marry Adara, and save the Nasim family he'd come to love from Borini and save Maria from Russo?
