Rick, the Human Resources Director at Arizona, a publishing house specializing in romance in Sydney, is a charming man and an incorrigible gambler, squandering his fortune on bets. But everything changes when the board of directors imposes a new rule: only married men can now hold executive positions. For Rick, fiercely opposed to love, it’s a real blow.

Lena, an inexperienced illustrator, dreams of landing a stable job. Burdened by her family’s judgments about her appearance and career, she will soon have to leave her sister’s house to finally gain her independence.
