"...one afternoon while rummaging through an aviation salvage yard in Sun Valley California, searching for a plane wing to use as a porch awning, I came upon several discarded metal templates used in the manufacture of electronic circuitry. Fascinated by the panel's graphic simplicity, yet aware of the complex electronic circuitry which they produced and curious about the zillions of bits of information that subsequently passed through its final product, the panels spoke to me. I spoke to them. The resulting dialogue resides in egg tempura, madagascar ink, and acrylic, on thirty 23" by 23" aluminum panels."
