In order to become official members of the Special Flower Funeral Corps, Kingo and Ayari must take the selection exam—even as they secretly work to uncover the identities of the Black Lily, an organization that may be behind the creation of the Jinka. The exam’s survival phase has hopefuls fight Jinka, but there’s something odd about the Jinka they’re fighting—they aren’t mechanical or random people pulled off the streets, but senior members of their own squads whose Jinka weapons are consuming them!
