More than a simple coming-of-age story, "Andrew" delves into themes of resilience, transformation, and the far-reaching effects of life-altering events. 
Originally crafted as one of my first short stories for a university fiction class—so well received that I was given an extra assignment to write another story for the class. While it is the final story in the first book of my Anthology of Evil series, this narrative also lays the groundwork from which evolved my book, Death of Heaven, winner of the 2024 New York City Big Book Award for Horror.
