It's Always Pride Here

Three estranged best friends. Two blossoming romances. One weekend at NYC Pride. What could go wrong?

Amara Eagan was supposed to have the time of her life in college after getting away from her uber-strict parents. Instead, she spent her first year partying too hard, failing half her classes, and losing her scholarship. That’s why a road trip to Pride with her best friends Matt and Rain couldn’t come at a better time—a welcome reprieve from her pathetic new life that reminds her of the old days. But, Amara isn’t ready to tell anyone about her freshman flame-out just yet, and she most certainly isn’t ready to deal with the new and confusing butterflies that appear every time she looks at Rain.

Matthew Elder is a chronic overthinker with big goals, big personality, and an even bigger secret. At Howard University, he keeps busy with classes and track practice, but when it’s time for a trip with his high school best friends —who used to know him better than anyone—there's nowhere to hide. As a buffer, he invites Dedric, his handsome roommate to come along. But, when the weekend spirals into one giant mishap after another, Matt begins to question everything—from whether old friendships can survive new crises to his inconvenient, not-so-platonic feelings for Dedric.
