Louis William Rogers (also known as L. W. Rogers) was one of the most articulate advocates of mysticism and "ancient wisdom". He wrote extensively on reincarnation, life after death, karma, and others matters of philosophical idealism. He was also a prominent lecturer on those subjects, as well as the the editor of two popular periodicals: Ancient Wisdom and The Voice. In this short book, he focuses on escaping the miseries of life to overcome them and attaining happiness. Happiness, according to the author, is the product of wisdom, and in this book, he gives a blueprint for attaining it.
