DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE NOTICE TO AIRMEN (NOTAM) SYSTEM - The Air Force is the single manager of the DoD NOTAM System. The DoD NOTAM System disseminates information to aircrews and flight operations personnel regarding the establishment, condition, or change in any aeronautical facility, service, procedure or hazard of which the timely knowledge may be critical to safe DoD flight operations. It also provides DoD agencies the capability to create NOTAMs via the Internet.

It provides guidance and procedures for Air Force aviation support to public and military events and applies to Air Force personnel who approve, plan, coordinate, and participate in these events.

MUNITIONS REQUIREMENTS FOR AIRCREW TRAINING - It lists the maximum quantity authorizations for aircrew captive carry training munitions by mission design system, describes the different categories of munitions requirements, provides procedures for reporting aircrew munitions expenditures and outlines the responsibilities for those involved. Guidance for managing annual allocations is also established.
