A Conversation with Taylor O. Thomas is the the first issue of the series. In this edition we sit down with the artist in her Tampa, FL studio and discuss what it means to make a “meaningful mark”. We hope this issue brings a greater appreciation of her work and as well as the arts in general.


FOA (Friend of the Artist) is an online art space that creates new and engaging opportunities for artist worldwide. Outside of an academic context, it is with difficulty that artist show their work. FOA is an alternative space that exposes great work by up and coming painters, sculptors, printmakers, and photographers. We reward these artist with online gallery space, social media post, published artist interview, and funding. We hope you will join in the conversation.
