A Heart Can Mend

Jessica Romani's "dead" husband is back in town and he is up to no good. Jessica's husband and two young children died in a horrific car accident, but had they really all been killed. Sam stopped at the liquor store to buy beer and wine for dinner, leaving his two young children in the running vehicle. While in the store someone stole the vehicle and Sam comes out of the liquor store just as the 18-wheeler slams into the 4-Runner flipping it several times before running over it, crushing it, and the occupants inside the car. The driver of the vehicle had the same coloring and build as Sam so no one questioned that it was him. He was finally free of Jessica, the wife he'd married one month after marrying his first wife Julia. After the accident, he realized he is free of this burden-Jessica and kids. He took the first flight to Pittsburgh, to Julia and where he's been living fulltime for the last two years. Now in Sam's mind, Jessica has become a threat to his perfect life in Pittsburgh. He's decided she needs to die, but he wants clean hands, so he's trying to drive her to commit suicide. It's beyond his understanding that Jessica doesn't have a clue he is still alive until he starts calling her and playing devious tricks on her.
