A Pious Attitude

Billions of people from various time periods, cultures, and religions have noticed that a godly Higher Power exists. They have used different names and descriptions for this entity, but they can agree that it is worth honoring, respecting, worshipping, appreciating, or fearing. I believe that God desires and deserves to be humbly honored by people and many of the non-humans who are somewhat-intelligent, aware, and capable of making certain choices. A pious attitude towards God seems reasonable, as it expresses the virtue of humility, rather than arrogance, and it also shows that someone doesn’t egoistically desire to be in charge of the entire Universe. Existence is a spiritual journey.
