A Rare Import

A botanist moves from hectic NYC and settles in a small town on the coast of the Pacific NW.  She begins a friendship with a local actor and part time scientist. The town benefits from her expertise when an out of town developer wants to build a complex on a plot of land than grows rare and beautiful wildflowers and other plants.  Their love blossoms, as does her forming a city council to take on the developers, plus her new love of acting and her relationship with her lover, Jacob. Her historical Victorian house and garden also brings them closer together. This gentle love story is about starting over and loving nature and people.
