A Tortured Road

Heathrow Airport London, England

Irfan Agha aka ‘Uncle Cuckoo’ steps off the plane from Karachi, Pakistan, wondering whether his beloved K, who he hasn’t seen for more than a year, will be there to meet him. He has left his family and his country to see whether his Engrez girlfriend will still want to be with him and perhaps even marry him. More importantly, he has had this dream since the age of fourteen, to start an Advertising Agency in London and nothing was going to come in his way to fulfill this dream.

Determined and driven he will not allow anything to stand in his way but does this lead to a path of self-destruction? The tale takes the reader from his early struggles in London to the awe-inspiring beauty of Victoria Falls and the mighty Zambezi River.
