1. Combine a dependably normal musician, a wild child best friend, an occult scientist, a vampire and a love interest
2. In a large cauldron, add above mixture to a base of centuries-old romance, incorporate a 100-year-old curse, and stir vigorously
3. To finish, add a dash of werewolf, some spice, and a healthy dollop of humor, and heat well
