Alaska's Promise

Brand Lockwood barely survives a building's collapse. The accident awakens memories of an earlier deadly collapse. He vows to punish the man responsible for what nearly killed him.

Kara Richardson refuses to let her father take the blame for something she believes he didn't do. In an attempt to get to the truth and to support him, she takes a job at Brand's construction company in Alaska. She'd learned how to operate everything from earthmoving equipment to power tools at her father's side. 

As Kara and Brand work together, she's torn between keeping emotional distance from the hard-driving man and giving into her lonely heart. He'll hate her when she confesses her motives to him. 

When she tells her father what she's doing, he begs her to leave Alaska, but Brand has already laid claim to her heart. Can she live with the truth?
