Beckie is a Los Angeles woman who has served her husband dutifully for 20 years only to find herself stripped bare of all assets in a nasty divorce. With her life turned upside down, she finds herself at the center of an emotional hurricane. Initially contemplating suicide, she instead initiates an impulsive revenge relationship with a younger man.
