Animato is the chronology of the caricatured persona known as Saenz.


The images within the pages of this book are comprised of photos and illustrations by and from the archives of Robert Saenz and with help from old and new friends.


Saenz is the result of Robert Saenz’s experience, perspective and response to his personal and public life, Popular-Culture and its massive influence over American society and American society’s influence on the world.


  Animato is not intended to act as a full auto-biography but rather as the visual and audio ‘making-of,’ prequel and part of the early timeline of the fashion illustration, music invention of Robert Saenz and their eventual ascension and influence on the world.
