Imagine a parallel Earth where, for generations, the people were slaves, but didn't know they were slaves. Citizens overthrew their robotic systems and were finally free. How would the Next Generation of semi-telepaths function in a futuristic 22nd Century? What could go wrong? Would echoes of the past and "The Great War" be the cause of the problems? Or are aliens, dark "Ghosts" that citizens interact with...could they be the source of sudden problems in what was a "flawless" world? The future of the planet comes down to the actions of one girl. Does she win three important Tests to save the world, or does she die in the end?
