Aquifer

The Aquifer, life-sustaining drinking water for more than two million Long Islanders, is vulnerable to an underground toxic plume of unknown potential. Environmental Advocate Lee Marshall suspects that the old County landfill, recently closed, has placed the precious aquifer at risk. The nearby community of Bethview could become a ghost town.
