Navigating in frozen seas and harsh weather conditions is, as Winston Churchill once described it, “the worst journey in the world”. Sailing with a yacht to one of the most northern, only partially ice-free areas on Planet Earth - just 540 nautical miles or 1,000 km from the North Pole - is still a true adventure in sailing, even today.This small booklet will give account on the means and merits of our endeavor. It will be completed with our story and photos on return from our expedition.
