As good as it gets is a nonfiction account of a young Air Force navigator who was selected as Mission Planner for the CIA's A-12 Oxcart spyplane at Area 51 in the early 1960s. Sam Pizzo continues his career to include navigator duty on flights of Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev to the United States. Pizzo retired from the Air Force as a Colonel.
