ATQ Summer 2017

In this summer edition of Australian Trucking Quarterly, we check out two new trucks that will hit the road in 2017. The new Kenworth T610 and there is neat video of the Gala Launch at Kenworth’s Bayswater headquarters. We put the latest Mercedes Benz Actros 2658 to the test on a B-Double run from Sydney to Melbourne and are suitably surprised by its performance and fuel economy. 


We check out AIR-CTI’s central tyre inflation system and how it helps logging operators save big dollars in Southern Tasmania. Then we head north to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast to check out some DAF XF105s working in the turf industry. And just for fun we visit a Freightliner fleet and the while we’re there got to check out some pretty trick Harley-Davidson motorcyles.
