It wasn't the flashiest bauble in the shop, or the largest, but Rica treasured it more than anything else she'd ever made.

Every year, it was the only one left unsold. And every year, Rica packed it carefully away, hoping that, one day, someone would be drawn to this particular piece of glass and magic and would come to claim it.
