This book is based on the life of three best friends Veronica Martin, Lawrence Weldon, and Chasity Simms who met in college. The book depicts the highs and lows of the three after they graduate from college and enter adulthood.

Veronica lives in the shadow of her big sister, Valerie, the successful supermodel, and a very controlling mother, Debra Martin. While on a family vacation, she juggles being in love with her secret crush, Warren Beasley, and carrying the burden of hiding a familys secret that could destroy the familys legacy.

Lawrence is known as the ladies man. Lawrence loves women but doesnt know how to treat them. Hes now stuck in a love triangle with Naomi and Chasity who mentions she had something secretly to share with him. Could her secret be something that could rock the core of all their friendship?
